Antillias Carribean
Red fruiting Scotch Bonnet with quite large globular shaped fruits. This is an extremely hot chilli, packing a punch at 300,00 scoville units which start out a brilliant lime green, maturing through orange to red.
Big Jim
The largest New Mexican type pepper with huge pods, 20 to 30cm in length, borne on dwarf size plants around 60cm in height. Chillies look dramatic as they turn from deep green to dark red in colour.
Jalapeno
Although the Jalapeno no longer figures in the hottest 10 chillies in the world, it still packs a punch if you eat enough if you eat enough of them. Ubiquitous in Mexican cooking being used for salsas,nachos, toppings and sauces.
Hungarian Hot Wax
This is a popular`Yellow Wax' type, proved to be prolific and easy to grow. Fruits start out a pale yellow as they grow long and tapered with a gorgeous waxy appearance. The Hot Wax originates in Hungary and is sometimes known as the Banana Chilli.
African Devil
The African Devil is also known as African birdseye, African red devil or Piri Piri. It is used in cooking throughout Southern Africa, especially to accompany chicken and fish and gives its name to the world famous Piri Piri sauce.
Bangalore Torpedo
The Bangalore Torpedo is native to eastern India. Long thin fruits reaching 12cm, maturing from light green through to red and becoming hotter and hotter as they do. Matures in 90 – 100 days.
Superhot Thai Demon
A new hybrid Thai chilli producing small uniform fruits 7-8cm long. Extremely hot pungency ripening green to red. This is an excellent new variety which has greatly improved the Thai chilli type.
Hy Hot
One of the best medium thick cayenne varieties for yield and quality. Thick flesh with waxy skin and a very high percentage of straight fruits. The fruits are pendant setting and ripen from green to bright red on highly decorative plants.
