Golden Bumblebee Tomato Plug Plant

A sweet striped cherry tomato for greenhouses.
Golden Bumblebee is a striped cherry tomato grown for flavour as much as appearance. The small, round fruits ripen to a warm golden yellow, overlaid with fine orange striping that becomes more pronounced as the season progresses.
This is an indeterminate cherry tomato that grows steadily and crops over a long period when conditions are right. The plants produce generous trusses of evenly sized fruit, and the tomatoes hold well on the vine without splitting, making harvests easy to manage.
The flavour is sweet and juicy, balanced by enough acidity to keep it fresh rather than sugary. The fruits are best picked fully coloured, when both sweetness and aroma are at their peak. At around 2–3 cm across, they’re well suited to fresh eating, salads and general kitchen use.
Golden Bumblebee performs best under glass, where warmth and consistency allow both flavour and striping to develop fully. It can cope outdoors in a particularly warm, sheltered spot, but this is a variety that rewards protection and a long season.
This is a cherry tomato chosen for colour, sweetness and steady performance rather than sheer size or speed.
