First cherries of summer

Tremolo F1 is an early-cropping cordon cherry tomato bred for speed, reliability and flavour under UK conditions. It’s one of the first cherry tomatoes to come into production, often setting fruit weeks ahead of many standard cordon varieties.

The plants grow with classic indeterminate (cordon) structure, producing long, elegant trusses of round, evenly sized cherry tomatoes.

Fruit ripens progressively along the truss, allowing steady picking rather than sudden gluts. This early, extended cropping habit makes Tremolo particularly valuable where summers are short or unpredictable.

Flavour is clean, sweet and well balanced, with enough acidity to keep it fresh rather than sugary. The flesh is juicy without being soft, and the skins are fine but resilient, helping the fruit hold well on the plant and resist splitting in changeable weather.

Tremolo performs especially well under glass, where warmth brings out its best flavour and earliest harvests, but it is also reliable outdoors in a warm, sheltered position. It’s a variety chosen for growers who value early harvests, consistency and proper cherry-tomato flavour, rather than novelty or size alone.
